2022 New State Investment Immigration Policy

Since the end of 2020, the Australian immigration department has successively announced new policies for investment immigration in categories 188, which will be officially implemented on July 1, 2021. Except for Victoria, no new changes have been announced in the investment immigration policies of each state, and everyone is waiting.

Yesterday, New South Wales finally announced its new investment immigration policy for the new fiscal year. It is obvious that New South Wales has taken reference from Victoria’s investment immigration policy and has begun to have specific requirements for applicants’ academic qualifications, age, and industry fields. And just as the immigration department has increased its turnover requirements, the Sydney region’s turnover requirements for investment immigration applicants have also increased accordingly.

This article will give you a detailed interpretation of the latest changes in NSW investment immigration in the 2021-22 fiscal year

Summary of Australian Study Abroad Immigration Service Center

Obviously, the changes in NSW’s investment immigration policy this fiscal year are in line with Victoria’s investment immigration reform policy earlier this year. Including requirements for academic qualifications, age restrictions, and the introduction of target industries. The purpose of this reform in NSW is very clear:
● Raise entry barriers (highly educated or experienced business elites);
● Support the industries planned in NSW to improve the overall economic performance and competitiveness of NSW.
For investment immigration, the vast majority of NSW applicants are eligible. Except for the impact of the epidemic, this reform has little impact on the target population of NSW investment immigration. Only whether to invest in the target industry will limit the investment target of the investor. But it does not mean that you can only invest in companies in the target industry. Other industries can still invest, but the review standards will be improved and stricter.

The Australian Study Abroad Immigration Service Center has always maintained a high pass rate of 100% approval for Australian investment immigration, and basically maintained a state guarantee in about 1 day. If you intend to immigrate by investment in Australia, or have any questions, please scan the QR code below and we will answer you at any time.
